After four years without a singe curated/boosted story, I've given up on Medium. Even when my essay Honest Work (https://medium.com/the-pro-files/honest-work-eb6b158454ca) was named a semi-finalist for the Medium Writers Challenge, Medium didn't bother to curate or distribute it (though they did curate all the other semi-finalists). I write for The New York Times, Playboy, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Saturday Evening Post and other top outlets and my "posts" each take a month of hard work to write and illustrate. If that's the care/quality Medium is supposedly looking for, it isn't being rewarded.
